All of us here at BLACKBERRY JUNCTION would like to thank our loyal customers for helping us ring in the holiday season. We really appreciate the fact that all of you are so very kind & patient with us as we make the necessary changes for the growth of the show. Without all of you & your support we certainly would not be able to bring you the shows that we do.
We also wanted to let you know that we have decided to push back the dates of our spring show a bit. Instead of the usual March dates, we decided to have it in April instead. (This will allow our vendors even more time to come up with their CREATIONS to dazzle you with). The dates for the show will be....April 12th (pre-sale night) thru Sat. April 21st. 10-6 everyday, (except for pre-sale 12th, will be from 4-8 pm).
We will be updating from time to time to give you some idead on what wonderful things our vendors are working on!
We want to wish each & every one of you much happiness , joy & cheer throughout the season & in the new year.

The warehouse is absolutely dazzling this cold, wintery day. Not even the fog could keep our wonderful customers from finding their way to this years Christmas at Blackberry Junction. The overall theme this year is BLING!!! Everything is sparkling with glitter, tinsel and diamonds and a little rust mixed in!!! It's great and there is a wonderful variety of styles as usual!!! The pre-sale event this evening went well and many happy friends filled their baskets with goodies. The warehouse is LARGE and hard to keep heated so be sure and BUNDLE UP!!! It's almost time for the beautiful show to begin. Set-up starts next Monday & the show opens up on Thursday evening (Nov. 10th) at 4 PM for the pre -sale.

We are currently working on our first BLACKBERRY JUNCTION book! It will be filled with beautiful illustrations, inspirational pieces, & in the field treasure hunting.....Can't wait for it to come out in the fall of 2012!

Are you starting to think about the Holidays yet?.....Well here at Blackberry Junction, we certainly are!

We have a lot of great things lined up to put a big smile on all of your faces for the Holidays. Lots of trees, lots of white lights & certainly lots of great vendors who will bringing the bling!

This years show will run from Nov. 11th thru 19th from 10-6 everyday. We will also be having our pre-sale evening on Thursday evening from 4-8 P.M. Tickets will be sold at the door on this evening & will be $15.00. We will also be having some treats & hors d'oeuvres for your pleasure & you will be automatically entered into our hourly drawing!...Sounds like fun huh?

We had a lot of fun at the Sept. show during our pre-shop night. (Customers liked the fact that it was a bit more relaxed & easier to shop). It was nice not only being in a new larger 1 level showroom, but also to be able to try out a new venue like a pre-sale evening.....& yes of course you may actually make your normal purchases that evening. (The only thing that we ask is if you wish to purchase a large item or a "featured" item you may certainly do so, but that we may PLEASE leave it on display thru opening weekend). That way the show won't look torn up on opening day before it opens to the public.

We would like to once again thank all of you for your support & allowing us to make the necessary changes that we needed for the show to grow. With out all of you guys, we could not begin to have a show, so THANK-YOU so very much!

It's finally here! We are excited to show all our faithful followers the new home of Blackberry Junction! Hope you can all make it tonight to the Autumn Soiree from 4-8pm. A $20 admission fee at the door will give you a ticket to the biggest event this fall! With your ticket you can browse all the wonderful treasures to be found at this years autumn show and be entered into multiple drawings for door prizes including items from the show! All your favorite artists are back with their latest and greatest creations! During the pre-sale you can also sample wines from Van Duzer wines, tempting chocolate from the Melting Pot and hand made pastries from Heidi along with Sheela's scrumptious dips! A lovely addition to the show is Confuzion Glass Works - they have beautiful repurposed glass ware. Be the first to see all the wonderful items that have transformed the "Terminal"
into a beautiful boutique! Avoid the long lines on opening day and join us tonight! Gather your friends - you don't want to miss this event!!!!

Just a reminder for our Autumn shows new location. It will be held in our new 1 level showroom at 635 Water St. Albany, Ore. (1 block East of the new Wheelhouse building). The show will start on Sept. 16th & run thru the 24th, with the pre-sale evening Thursday Sept. 15th from 4-8 PM. The tickets for this special evening will be $20.00 at the door.....Lots of fun, lots of beautiful creations!!!!

Lots of activity going on in the old Borden warehouse where our show will be taking place. Quite a few vendors have already started construction on their eye-popping displays & moving in some of their beautiful items. It's getting pretty exciting right about now!
Not only are the vendors getting excited, but some of the local businesses have been coming around to check out all of the activity. Some of them are going to be having their own sales & events around our show dates so the customers will have plenty of things to look at after they leave Blackberry Junction. Shops such as Albany's first stop antique mall who are planning on running a store wide sale that will be open daily from 10-6 Sept. 16th thru 24th. They are located in a large 3000 sq. ft. brick building at 131 Montgomery St. N.E. (2 blocks west of Blackberry Junction), & their annex store at 321 1st. St. inside Montgomery Park.......
Also getting ready for our event is Van Duzer Winery, O-Babie Bakery, Melting Pot, & Gourmet Mix Market who will all be treating our customers to tastings on our pre-sale evening, (Thursday Sept. 15th from 4-8 pm).......Sounds like a good time to me!!!

It does not seem possible that our fall show is almost here. Just a few weeks away!
I hope all of you will be able to join us for our first show in our new 1 level showroom. Something that has been long overdue.
The address of our new show location is 635 Water St. Albany, Ore. (One block East of the beautiful Wheelhouse Building).
We will be featuring an entirely new look for this show. A lot of our same talented vendors & also a few new ones who will be bringing in different & creative ideas & products.
As usual the show will run it's full 9 days & will be open from 10:00 -6:00 everyday, including Sunday. New fun items will be brought in everyday & as usual free admission. (The only fee will be for the pre-sale $20.00 that will be charged at the door for the admission on Thursday evening from 4:00-8:00 on Sept. 15th). This will give shoppers a chance to pre-buy items before the show opens to the public on Fri. the 16th.
I would like to THANK all of you wonderful customers & great vendors who have made this possible for us. You have allowed us to keep growing & getting better with every show! Hope to see you there!

As you can see, we have already started preparation for our wonderful Blackberry Junction Autumn show. Lots of new & exciting things this time, including a new location!!!!!!
We have enjoyed our time at the historic Fairmount grange, but we have simply grown out of it. (Which is a good problem to have). I know both the vendors & the loyal customers have been asking us to find a new larger location that has only one level to make shopping and set-up a bit easier.
So now I am happy to announce to all of you that our new warehouse facility on Water street in Albany, will meet all of our needs & will open a more doors for us to keep growing & just keep getting better!
We are currently working on plans to sell tickets at the door for $20.00 to have a pre-sale evening from 5:00-8:00 PM the evening before the show opens. This invitation is for our loyal customers who have been with us & helped to support us all of this time. It will give them a chance to have a sneak peek of our fall show & a chance to shop early enjoy wine, chocolate & other goodies! (We will also have a one drawing per hour during this evening).
That's all of the surprises for now, I'll keep you posted as more fun things unfold!

As you know our spring 2011 show was a big hit! We had a lot of great customers as well as a lot of talented vendors, who really out did themselves...
I would like to say Thank-you to all of you that helped support BLACKBERRY JUNCTION, so that we may continue to come back time & time again.
Also my hats off to all of our creative vendors who have really burned the candle at both ends gearing up for the show. Your hard work and talent really came shining thru!
I would also like to thank SECOND STREET MALL in INDEPENDENCE for all of their support they have shown us with this show. (ALSO to congratulate them on being the business of the year in the Independence/Monmouth area). If you havn't checked them out yet, you just may want to do that.
We had a lot of fun putting on the show & will take a little time off in the summer so we can begin making plans for September... Our next BLACKBERRY JUNCTION show will be back on September 16th thru 24th. (10-6 everyday).

Hello everybody,
Just a friendly update on what is going on with Blackberry Junction....
As promised we have a fun, colorful Spring show coming up soon. (MARCH 11-THRU 19th. 10:00-6:00 everyday).Just can't wait!
Of course we have a lot of the original popular vendors here with us, as well as a few new ones that will be joining us! It's always fun to see what new exciting things people will be bringing in!
I love to see the amount of creativity & imagination that goes into every piece of merchandise that comes thru our shows. It's amazing how some of these vendors can rip something OLD apart & re-purpose it the way they do....My hats off to them!
Can't wait for you to see what's in store for our next show!

It's late January & time to start thinking about our spring 2011 show.
I just can't wait for spring...Everything just comes back to life after being dormant for so very long.
We have a lot of fun things planned for all of you guys. A lot of beautiful merchandise brought in by all of the vendors you know & love so much, as well as some new ones.
I just know that you will be inspired to go out into your yards and start planting when you see all of the fun gardening things we will be bringing in!
The spring show will run from March 11th thru March 19th 10-6 everyday.

Our Christmas 2010 show was a big success, thanks to all of our wonderful customers who help to support us through each & every show.
I would also like to give a big THANK-YOU to all of those hard working people who are behind the scenes of the show. Without these guys,we couldn't possibly transform the grange into the creative vignettes that we do.
My hat's off to Allen who helps build & transform some of the unique & beautiful furniture pieces that we feature, as well as loading,unloading props, spraying weeds, cutting down bushes & briars from the parking lot so customers can park & driving the large trailers to & from each & every show.
Shirley who puts up with us keeping the large trailers filled with the props & other misc. stuff stored in her barn.
Misty & David for doing a lot of the heavy lifting & Creative storing of the large benches & furniture that fill the grange before each show, as well as helping to set up props & then again tear them back down for the final clean up.
Thank-you to Alice & Dana for all of their help with the many late nights they have stayed up to help us put both stamps & labels on the flyers as well as clean up.
Angela who works her tail off trying to help figure out where to put 5000 items or more in a space where only 3000 items will fit...
The designers & talented vendors who work around the clock making the show both beautiful & perfect for opening day.
Heidi who spends half of the night up baking so we always have fresh & yummy goodies to munch on.
Danielle, who takes the great photos for the blog, so that we can give the customers a sneak peak before the show opens.
Last but certainly not least, thank-you to all of the creative vendors who also work around the clock not only making their wonderful items, but help to keep everything running so smooth once we open the doors.

It's time for BLACKBERRY JUNCTION'S fall show!
We have lot's of wonderful things lined up for all of you. Big things, small things, colorful things, & yes even things that go bump in the night...
For those of you who just can't get enough sunflowers, crows, great primitive pieces, Halloween , garden art, Elegant autumn collections, china & so much more, than this is the show for you.
Of course all of your favorite vendors will be there...Michelle, Judy & Lori with their grubby candles & primitive pieces, Danielle will be bringing her cowboy inspired signs & funky purses, Judy & Pat with their fun dollies & cinnamon creations, Sheela with her mouthwatering gourmet mixes, Goose Hallow gals with their handmade stitcheries & other creations, and sooooooooooo many more talented vendors that I know you will want to see again.

Wow what a show we had!
Lots of great vendors, great customers & great merchandise...
The weather was just perfect for most of the show. It really made you want to go home & start digging in the garden or at the very least, finding a spot to place all of the fun "GARDEN ART" from the show.

It's finally spring & we are all ready for our fun & exciting 2010 show.
We have lots of beautiful items including ....Ed's wonderful one of a kind painted furniture pieces, Paula's hand-painted gallery items & cookbooks, Allens original hand-built antiqued window potting benches & whimsical bird-houses, Joy & Gary's beautiful live plants & Mary's home-grown lavender creations.

Hello everyone;
I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of our wonderful customers who helped support us during the holiday season.
I just can't believe it's over already! (Seemed like just yesterday we were busy stringing up tree lights & hanging ornaments).
I also want to give a big THANK_YOU to all of our wonderful vendors for yet another job well done. Blackberry Junction would not be the show it is today without all of their hard work & dedication.
With all that said, I guess it is time to start making plans for our next show......March 12th-20th. (10-6).
Spring is in the air....(Well it is a bit cold yet, so I guess that we'll just have to use our imagination for this one!).
We are making plans for our March show as we speak, so I will keep you informed with some sneak-peeks as we get a bit farther into it.

It's Late October & the sky is starting to darken with those oh so familiar gray rain clouds....Guess what that means?...The hustle & bustle of the holidays are soon approaching!
Starting on Friday the 13th of November (through the 21st), you will be able to forget some of the darkness & gloom outside as you walk into the brightly lit Fairmount grange to celebrate the well loved Blackberry Junction Holiday show.
Once again our talented vendors have out-done themselves collecting & , creating beautiful yet original items such as, painted furniture, hand sewn items, fine hand-crafts, ornaments, collectibles, antiques, jewelry & lots of other great items!
What a fun way to spend some time on a cold rainy day. Just shopping for that hard to buy for person as you walk around munching on warm freshly baked cookies streight from the oven!

Well it's mid June already, & I wanted to let all of you know how much fun we are having putting the next show together!
The vendors are all a buzz trying to collect all of their special treasures, sewing machines are humming ,paint is flying, and O- Babie Bakery is working on mouth watering recipes for the autumn season! (Yum!).
I thought you might want a sneak-peek of what we are working on for the September show, so here is a taste....
Once you walk into the historic grange, you will be be surrounded by the warm rich hues of autumn. Lots of hand-made pumpkins made from wonderful fabrics,beautifully sewn quilts & table-runners , wooden primitive items, great plaques & photos for your walls, & of course tastefully done Halloween items.
Let's not forget the luxurious black, white, creme, silver & crystal look of the "Hollywood" theme that is so popular.
Walk a little farther & experience the rich cremes of the shabby chic /Paris Flea Market/old world travel area.(If that doesn't make you want to hop on a plane, nothing will!).
It will be a great show, & I hope that all of you can make it!

The mornings have been cool, the nights have that fall breeze blowing in. As the sunflowers await their job, they smile down and I cannot help but smile back as I pass by, for here we are that time of year. A time for change, a time for the warmth of a great quilt, or hidden treasure that makes us smile, maybe even a birdhouse that may be added to our fall garden.

I want to thank all the vendors and customers for a wonderful Spring Event of Blackberry Junction! I will treasure our visits and our laughter. The grange is all empty for now but we will be returning shortly. Our fall show dates have been set for September 19-27, 2008. I will miss you all till then and hope to see you out and about in summer festivities.
A huge thank you to those that came down on Easter Sunday to gather up your last items. Several stayed to help clean up our minor tornado- a big THANKS! Carol, Braeda, Linda, Joe, Dave, and Joy(from Auntie Joy's- an amazing woman who has been there till the bitter end)! I will see you soon and keep you in my prayers for the summer adventures!

It is the final day of Blackberry Junction Spring 2008! What a wonderful day to have an Easter Hunt! We have so many wonderful finds that even emerged last night! This "Tall and Lovely" artwork by Raija is one of the beautiful paintings we have enjoyed here at Blackberry Junction. We are very honored to have another artist join us this season. Raija was born in Finland, lived in Canada, and moved with her family to Oregon in 1968. She started painting and taking classes 22 years ago. Raija works in acrylic and oil-painting on canvas, fabric, Christmas ornaments, glass, and watercolor paper. She has painted many murals in local schools, businesses, and private homes. Her work has appeared at Bush Barn and the Oregon State Fair. She has some wonderful pieces left and many happy customers have taken several home to enjoy! Thank you Raija!

We are so excited to share with you what we have been doing and give you hints of our upcoming show! Last spring was so much fun! Fall was tremendous that quickly led us into our first Christmas show! This was such a delight with so many talented artists. I believe we all had a grand time working with each other.
We have snow here today yet I find myself lost in the thoughts of spring. We took the street of dreams tour in Oregon City this last August and have many special spots from each home etched in my mind. The views were spectacular, the architectural elements in the homes were grand but it was the touches of furnishings, fabrics, and one of a kind elements that made these homes warm and friendly. Blackberry Junction is ever evolving and vendors are always bringing unique finds, creations, and hand made items that could add warmth to any home.
